VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION REQUEST

The City of Macomb has released the following announcement:

The Water Treatment Plant is undergoing a construction project to improve water
quality.

Although water consumption is usually low during this time, we are implementing a
VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION REQUEST FROM DECEMBER 19, 2009
THROUGH JANUARY 15, 2010.

We ask that everyone do what they can to conserve water during this time period.

There are a number of ways to conserve water:

Turning off the water while brushing your teeth saves up to 25 gallons per month.

Turning off the water while washing your hair can save up to 150 gallons a month.

If we all do a little, we can save a lot AND it will help reduce your water bill.
