Cell Phones for Soldiers and WIU's military science department are calling on
Americans to support the more than 150,000 troops who are serving over-
seas, away from their families by donating unused cell phones.

The Western Prairie Audubon Society is featuring a talk entitled "The influence of
our changing landscape on mammalian population" by Dr. Robert McCleery
current Wildlife Ecology professor at WIU. The talk will be held at the
Macomb City Hall Community Room. The talk is free and open to the public.

McDonough District Hospital will offer a Community CPR class from 6-10pm in
Auditoriums A & B (lower level) at MDH. This class offers Adult, Child, and
infant techniques for CPR and obstructed airway. Pre-registration is required
and the fee for this course is $25. For more information or to register,

The Macomb Park District will be offering a beginner Senior Computer Class for
individuals 55 and over on Monday, March 15-Friday, March 19 from 2-3pm.
This introductory class will will guide you through the use of the internet,
word processing, and a variety of other programs. The class will meet in
Morgan Hall room 102 on the campus of WIU. The cost of the Senior Com-
puter class is $25 for residents and $37.50 for non-residents. The deadline

The Central Illinois Chapter Alzheimer's Association will present "Grief", a program
for caregivers to learn more about the anticipatory grief associated with a
prolonged illness or serious memory impairment. The program will be held
from 4-7pm at the Macomb District Hospital. Reservations are required.
